surrounding area. Lac La Biche County also has a Special Constable/Bylaw
Enforcement Officer.

Lac La Biche County recommends that all persons
taking out fire permits have adequate fire insurance coverage. This is
particularly important for those planning to burn machine-piled brush piles as
there have been several instances of these flaring up after a lengthy period of
time and causing severe damage and expensive fire fighting costs.
A new fire fighting expense endorsement is being
offered by the insurance industry. The following if an example of possible
endorsement costs.
