Get in the Canadian spirit of winter sports through the Lac La Biche Kinsmen On-The-Pond Hockey Tournament being held on March 3, 2012.

This popular event draws teams of youngsters aged four to eight years from across northern Alberta, each ready to play an old-fashioned game of pond hockey in front of cheering fans.

Every winter Lac La Biche Kinsmen members prepare eight pro-rated rinks on Lac La Biche Lake. While the rinks are built without boards and blue lines, each end has a goal net making the sport fun and challenging at the same time.  It’s a fun way to spend a winter day with family and friends, and a highlight for many local and visiting youth.
