Public Hearing: Bylaw 20-027

Take notice that the Council of Lac La Biche County is proposing to pass a bylaw pursuant to Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act.

The purpose of the public hearing is to obtain public input on the proposed Land Use Bylaw amendments listed in Bylaw No. 20-027. Amendments in this bylaw include housekeeping changes such as amended and new definitions, clarification and expansion on the development process, as well as adjusting the list of permitted and discretionary uses within zoning districts.

Anyone who is interested in speaking on the proposed bylaw is encouraged to participate. Those wishing to speak to County Council must pre-register to legservices@laclabichecounty.com, by noon the day prior to the public hearing, and upon registering Legislative Services will provide registered participants with the necessary ZOOM information to access the public hearing by virtual means; participants will be given up to 10 minutes to present to County Council. Alternatively, you may forward a written submission to legservices@laclabichecounty.com, or by fax at 780-623-2039, by noon the day prior to the public hearing, and it will be read into record during the public hearing.  

Submissions received after the public hearing cannot be considered by Council, so it is important that interested parties participate in the public hearing.
