Survey on environmental reserve and riparian area use

Post Date:04/26/2019 4:14 PM

We are asking local residents to provide their input and help us develop an Environmental Reserve Bylaw for our County.

What are environmental reserves? They are lands set aside to protect shorelines and bodies of water. They're designed to act as "buffer zones" between private property and water bodies, so they should not be altered or disturbed. Developing an Environmental Reserve Bylaw will establish clear rules for educating residents, encouraging compliance and dealing with unauthorized activities.

Please click here to take a short survey. The information residents provide to us will help us finalize the Environmental Reserve Bylaw. We are gathering this information to obtain an overall picture of environmental reserve and riparian area use in our County, and residents' attitudes towards them.
