UPDATE (March 18, 2021)
The natural gas leak near the intersection of 99 Avenue and 101 Street/100 Street in the hamlet of Lac La Biche was repaired late last night. County staff have gone door-to-door to relight appliances at residences affected by the outage.

There is a non-threatening natural gas leak near the intersection of 99 Avenue and 101 Street/100 Street in the hamlet of Lac La Biche. County crews are currently repairing the infrastructure, and all affected residents who will be without natural gas for duration of the repair have been notified.
There is currently no cause for safety concerns. However, we do ask that residents passing through the area use caution and watch for workers and equipment.
