Finance manages Lac La Biche County's budget, taxation, utility and general billings, grant applications and reporting, and the annual auditing process.
Finance supports all County departments in their day-to-day financial activities, works with Council on annual budgets and reports fiscal results to the public.
From March 1 until Oct. 31, permits will be required for all burning except campfires, to help keep our community safe. As always, permits will be free, but site inspections may be required.
County residents living outside the Forest Protection Area (the area protected by the Government of Alberta) are able to apply for free permits online. To apply for a permit online, visit laclabichecounty.com/p/protective-services and click on 'Burn Permits and Fire Season.' That section includes information about permitting zones, along with a link to our online permitting system.
