Four local communities are partnering to host a spectacular Indigenous celebration on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.
Lac La Biche County, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Heart Lake First Nation and Whitefish Lake First Nation are co-hosting a One-Day Traditional Pow Wow. The event will take place on the Bold Centre Sports Fields in the hamlet of Lac La Biche.
The One-Day Traditional Pow Wow is in honour of the Treaty relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, and in celebration of the Indigenous cultures that have called this region home since time immemorial.
