One-Day Traditional Pow Wow

Four local communities are partnering to host a spectacular Indigenous celebration on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.

Lac La Biche County, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Heart Lake First Nation and Whitefish Lake First Nation are co-hosting a One-Day Traditional Pow Wow.

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the event has been moved indoors! It will now take place inside the Bold Centre (Performance Arena).

The One-Day Traditional Pow Wow is in honour of the Treaty relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, and in celebration of the Indigenous cultures that have called this region home since time immemorial.

Online registration is now available! Fill out the form at the bottom of this page to pre-register.
